Daniel Baohm
Daniel has over 15 years’ experience in securities having held roles with KPMG, Austock, Baillieu Holst and most recently Canaccord Genuity (Australia) where he led the Investment Banking team in Melbourne, was Responsible Manager for Canaccord’s Investment Banking division across Australia, was a member of Canaccord’s Audit & Risk Committee in Australia and as well as being a member of Canaccord’s Global Internal Audit team.

Daniel possesses a wealth of expertise in the securities industry encompassing a diverse range of sectors such as resources and energy, information technology, childcare, financial services, medicinal cannabis, healthcare and general industrials.

His extensive background is demonstrated by his involvement in more than 350 distinct transactions, which have included:

a broad range of capital raisings (debt, hybrid and equity, primary and secondary) spanning the entire transaction lifecycle through origination, transaction logistics, transaction syndication, equity offer structuring, marketing, bookbuilding and settlements;

capital management initiatives including (but not limited to) share consolidations, share splits, dividend management, stakeholder management, capital preservation and strategic deployment; and
-
various corporate advisory roles encompassing mergers and acquisitions, divestments, management buy-out, syndication management, strategic initiatives and project management in both public and private sectors.

Alex Berezner
Alex has over 13 years’ experience in securities having held roles with Nomura Australia and most recently Canaccord Genuity (Australia) where he was Director in the Investment Banking team in Melbourne.
Alex is recognized for his exceptional skills in executing complex financial transactions.

Alex has significant experience in M&A working on a number of cross-border transactions for leading large-cap companies in and metals and mining, FIG, consumer and industrial sectors and has significant ECM experience in the mid-market encompassing healthcare, technology, resources and energy, childcare, financial services, medicinal cannabis, healthcare and general industrials.
​
Alex has been involved in more than 250 distinct transactions, which have included:

sell side and buy-side M&A in metals and mining, FIG, consumer and industrial sectors

advising clients on strategic initiatives, such as spin-offs, divestitures, and joint ventures;

a broad range of capital raisings (debt, hybrid and equity, primary and secondary) spanning the entire transaction lifecycle through origination, transaction logistics, transaction syndication, equity offer structuring, marketing, bookbuilding and settlements;

Chris Baohm
Chris has over 40 years’ experience in investment banking including Managing Director and lead banking roles with UBS and Gresham Advisory, as well as being Co-Chair Investment Banking at Goldman Sachs.

Major resources transactions remain a core of Chris’ experience, he has deep experience in a wide range of sectors including healthcare, general industrial, financial services, agricultural services, and utilities.
He has played a central advisory role in a large number of M&A transactions, the most interesting including:

BHP in the BHP Billiton merger, the sale of BHP Manganese and the exit of BHP from the Hartley project in Zimbabwe;

MIM in relation to the Xstrata bid;

Xstrata in its bid for WMC;
-
MPI Mines in relation to the Lion-Ore bid;
-
Wesfarmers in the divestment of Landmark;
-
Healthscope on the acquisition of Gribbles and of Nova Health;
-
IOOF during its demutualisation;
-
IFM on the acquisition of Pacific Hydro and Queensland Cotton in its offer for Namoi Cotton.
Further Chris has advised on numerous IPO’s and capital markets transactions including the IPO’s of Newmont Australia, Pasminco and Boom Logistics and the $850 million capital raising for Pasminco to fund the Century mine.
